According to László Mátyus, the Director of Innovation and Service Development at DKV:
“With over 200 vehicles and more than 400 drivers, we operate on buses, trolleybuses and trams with roughly 3000 trips every day. On a yearly level, that adds up to a million trips and we carry around 100 million passengers annually. With such numbers, it’s unavoidable that accidents can happen, so we strive to do the utmost for road safety and passenger safety. That is why we were very happy to join the project for BaselineNC™, which focuses on testing devices that monitor drivers’ fatigue.”
An article about the overall project can be found at the EIT Urban Mobility website.
