IHF Ltd is an Edinburgh-based award-winning Human Factors consultancy, staffed by ex-military pilots. Operating in the Oil & Gas, process, safety/engineering, finance and transport (aviation, shipping and rail) sectors, we help organisations mitigate the negative impacts of HF and, using a range of proven tools, techniques and training methods, help reduce human error whilst improving performance and user well-being.
As a result of significant large scale contract wins and ongoing relationships with valued clients, IHF now requires the skills and expertise of a dedicated Sales & Account Coordinator based in Edinburgh.

About You
You will be an enthusiastic and motivated individual with an ability to use your initiative to get results. You will have a proven ability to converse with key decision makers over the telephone and email, and understand the full sales cycle from lead generation to aftercare.

Your Responsibilities
Our ideal candidate will undertake the following:

  • Prospecting for new business via cold calling as well as account management of existing clients
  • Database maintenance and management (experience with any CRM is OK)
  • General knowledge of the industries within which we operate preferred but not essential
  • Researching and identifying potential opportunities within our sectors of expertise
  • Assisting with proposal writing and tendering
  • Liaising with IHF’s expanding team of consultants to ensure they are kept abreast of client developments
